Triazophos 40 % EC - Trikal is brands formulate from Triazophos. When pest come in contact and insecticide reaches to stomach of pest insecticide it starts action.
- It is used in Cotton, Rice, Brinjal and Soybean to protect from pink Boll worm,Spotted bollworm,whitefly,Stem borer,leaf hopperand folder,Green leaf hopper,Hispa brown plant hopper,shoot and fruit borer,Girdle beetle white backed and plant hopper.
- The dosages per hectare are 250-800 gm a.i.and formulation is 625-2000ml depending on type of pest.
- As it is available with kalyani in the form of EC(Emulsifiable Concentrate).
Antidote:
- Atropinize the patient immediately and maintain full atropinization by repeated doses of 2 to 4 mg. of atropine sulphate intravenously at 5 to 10 minutes interval. As much as 25 to 50 mg. of atropine may be required in a day. The need for further atropine administration is guided by the continuance of symptoms. Extent of salivation is a useful criterion for dose adjustment.
- Dissolve 1-2 gm of 2 PAM in 10ml distilled water and inject intravenously very slowly for 10-15 minutes.
